The Desires and Goals of the Soul

Maharaji’s  said the desired goal of a soul is to receive the selfless Divine love of Radha Krishn.purification of the heart opens up room for bhakti and divine love consciousness. In this way we learn that Radha Krishn is the soul of our soul. Knowing this, one must cultivate a deep desire for their vision and love by strengthening faith in them. Chant their name and leelas, remove yourself from bad association, and nurture your desire for them. Remember that they are truly yours and that you belong only to them. They are most kind and merciful.
Maharaji’s further elaborates upon the desire of the soul with artful description in Prem Ras Madira and Prem Ras Siddhant. He speks of how we long to embrace the plants and the vines of Govardhan, site of pilgrims and blessed place where Krishna performed lilas during the last incornation an the planet Earth. We come to understand that Desire of the soul is longing to drown in love for Krishna, to walk in the places He walked and play in the places where He played. We aspire to the vision of Radha Krishn in this lifetime and to therefore put an end to all material and intellectual indulgences and attachment. When we relaize that in our earthly form we are separate from this love, we will say “O! My Beloved! Please come soon.”
And when we finally gain the deep knowledge of our separation from Krishna, we then cry: ‘Ha Krishn!’ ‘Ha Krishn!’ in our love-stricken grief. And with our desire to become truly whole again, we will embrace the belif that one day Krishn will surely come to us and make us His own, forever...
